Luna LS is in Maine! Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix Portland, ME

Luna arrived to AHR with her puppies Rebel, Sam, Glory and Hero. Luna is approximately 1.5 years of age and weighs about 40lbs.

She is doing great in foster care. She is house trained, kennel trained and starting to learn her basic training commands. She is looking for a family that will continue on with her training. She is young and still puppy like and oh so full of love. She enjoys chasing balls, playing with other dogs and just snuggling and getting love from her people.

She is playful, loving and just an all-around wonderful velco dog. Luna will need plenty of opportunity for exercise and stimulation. She would not do well being left home alone for long periods of time. Her perfect placement would be where she has lots of opportunity to run and play.

Luna is truly a wonderful girl that can't wait to have a family to call her very own!


Adoption fees cover age specific vaccinations, martingale and collar, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/lyme/ehrlichia test, worming etc.

Adoption fees:
Through 6 months of age $450;
7 months to through 5 years $400;
6 years and under 9 years $325: bonded pairs are $500;
9 years and older $250: bonded pairs are $300

This dog is available unless it is marked as Pending, meaning Pending Adoption. This dog is in foster care locally, ONLY if Maine or New Hampshire is listed next to the dogs name; otherwise, the dog is still waiting with our partner rescue for an adoption or foster home in New England.

PLEASE NOTE - We will check your veterinary reference, to ensure that current and prior dogs have a history of being kept up to date on rabies and distemper, have had annual heartworm tests, and are on heartworm preventative at least 6 months of the year. Current pets must by spayed/neutered.
