Meet Luke! Luke and his Brother Obi came to us from Muskingum Shelter. They asked us to please take these little babies out of the shelter, they were too tiny to live there, and there was no way we could refuse these little faces!

We believe they were born around June, maybe end of May. They are working on potty training, they know where the doggie door is and will go outside on their own. Luke likes to wander around on his own and check things out. He's independent and adventurous! He is also very food motivated, that hound or beagle nose of his will find food without any problem!

Luke will need a home that will continue his potty training and take him to puppy training classes to teach him puppy manners. Since he is so young he has not been socialized or leash trained a lot but has been around a lot of other dogs and people around his foster home. Once he is fully vaccinated he will get to go out of the foster home on field trips more and gain more experience in the world.

Luke has been dewormed, microchipped, neutered, and has had his first two rounds of vaccines. All booster vaccines are covered as part of the adoption fee if he becomes adopted before the vaccine series being completed.

Requirements for Adoption:
**Must live in the Central Ohio area ( within 45 miles of our office) For

**Must be over the age of 24 to adopt.
**Your resident pets must be spayed/neutered.?
**There is an adoption agreement and adoption fees are as follows:
$300 for Adult Dogs
$100 for Cats

Adoption Process:
**We do not have an application. Adoptions are pet-adopter driven.
**To meet our pets: Call our office at 614-471-9000 or click on the pet which you
are interested in and send email.
**We are happy to discuss the adoption process. The foster dogs are in foster
homes and most of the cats reside at our office.
**The adoption process includes a lease manager reference (if applicable) , a
veterinarian reference, and a home-visit (in-person or virtual).
If you've never owned a pet, part of our adoption process requires that you call
several vet offices to compare services, prices, and availability.
**The pooch that visits your home will go back home with us to allow your family
to discuss and ensure he/she is a good fit for your home.?

All pets are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm tested (dogs), FIV/leukemia tested (cats), & micro-chipped.
