Meet Luffy
Meet Luffy! He is currently 16 pounds, 3 months old, and we think he may be a Yellow Lab Retriever/Pittie mix, but with rescue its always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place.

Luffy is such a gorgeous boy! If you are not swayed by his beautiful soft blond coat, you will be totally entranced by his large liquid brown eyes that are both piercing and pleading. This gorgeous guy has the most delicate white stripe down his forehead that you cant resist tracing (and Luffy likes it; we think it relaxes him). And if you havent seen his floppy ears, you are in for a treat. Luffy uses them expertly in all his expressions and we are thinking about writing up a guidebook called Luffys Ever Expressive Ears (sure to be a bestseller). Luffy has some surprising dark accents on his tail, which are more obviously seen when hes in his frequent and famous sploot position. Luffy is nothing but perfectly playful puppy and we adore him!
What we like most about Luffy, though, is his attitude. Hes a gentle guy that enjoys treats, toys, and playing, but most of all, Luffy enjoys closeness. Luffy is under the impression that hes a tiny lap dog, and we are doing absolutely nothing to dissuade him from that. This affectionate lil fellow will melt right into your lap, preferably with a chew toy or two, and be perfectly happy and content. Hell even give you a kiss (or three) to prove it thats how loving and affectionate he is. Luffy is surprisingly gentle for his age, and is quite careful with gentle paws in his affection and adoration.
Luffy is great around other dogs and kids of all ages, and we think he would easily fit into any family to be your loyal and loving best friend. Apply to adopt Luffy today!
Luffy is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood.

Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport.
Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!
*WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health.
*To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs.

We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
