Meet Lucy Lou

Lucy is a female Terrier mix, eight months old and weighing 20 pounds. She was an owner surrender to PPR. She is a very sweet dog and loves attention but is shy and fearful. She has a little separation anxiety from the person she claims as her owner. Anytime you leave the room, she will request that you please come back. If you leave the house, she is not destructive, but will vocalize her displeasure for a short period of time. She does well with other dogs in the yard and can entertain herself by playing with toys. She appears housebroken and sleeps well in a kennel at night. She is somewhat reluctant to walk with strangers, but loves to walk with her family members, but has trouble in areas she does not know. Her favorite place is lying near her favorite person either on the floor or the couch. She has attended a basic obedience course and has learned sit, down, and wait. Lucy is up to date with vaccinations, spayed, heartworm negative and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200. If interested, please submit an application from www.poquitapawsrescue.org.
