Meet Lovely Lucy,

Her story is sad but happens all too often when people do not know the breed. We are looking for an experienced owner ONLY!

Lucy was surrendered to us when she was about a year and a half, he first family bought her as a puppy not understanding her breed the family had young children and as Lucy grew she started to nip out at the kid's in which she was hearding them. The family decided to surrender her to my rescue.

When Lucy was with me I allowed her to decompress and watch me she would go into her crate as it was her safe space. The more she watch me the more she trusted me. Lucy did great with the other dogs in the rescue as well!

She was adopted out the first time for a week and started to growl at family members so she was returned without having time to decompress.

Her third family adopted her in 2020 and now their life has changed since then. They have a four year old grand daughter that Lucy will show teeth to. I was informed she is attached to the woman and when people come up quickly she has bitten out at them. A trainer went over her home a few months ago and unfortunately there were inconsistencies with training, so the issue with the 4 yrs old was never resolved. Now Lucy needs a new home so the 4 year old can come over to her Grandparents house.

Lucy needs someone with experience of her breed and who will be very patient with her and understanding. She needs a person committed to her and walk her daily as well as allow her to do her job!
