Hello, my name is Lucy and I am about 2 yrs old with blackish brown with white on my chest. I am a pitty mix that 18 inches tall and weigh 36 lbs. I deserve to be on the cover of Vanity fur.

I am a very sweet young lady, that loves attention and chew toys. My tail goes all the time, so much so, I could give myself whip lash : ) . I do good with other dogs and I live with 5 cats. I admit I bark at the cats, but I show no aggression towards them nor do I chase them. I do not bother the chickens, but I do bark at horses, I just do not chase them. Since I've been at my care takers home, nobody knows how I am with children (as there are none), nor do they know if I am house trained as I am an outside girl only. I truly want to be an inside girl and someone's companion or family member. I do okay in a crate and I know the word "SIT" for a treat. I do okay on a leash. I also have no reaction to fire works.

So, knowing all this about me, would you like to have me as companion and give me a loving forever home and willing to teach me anything I need to know, that I do not know? An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.
Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
