Hi people! My name is Lucille but everybody calls me Lucy. One thing you guys need to know about me is that I am a #1 fan of life. I may be little in size, but I have a big heart and a big love to explore. My little legs keep me going and take me anywhere my heart (and nose) desires. I would consider myself an adventurous soul. My foster parents say I’m a very smart little girl. I learn very quickly and I am definitely snack motivated. My foster mom’s friend said I’m “hell on wheels” but it’s just because I have such a passion to learn and discover new things! Heck, that sounds like a compliment to me. I am potty trained (about 90%) and I do very well in my kennel. My foster mom gives me yummy snacks whenever I go in there, so I’m pretty sure I’m doing the right thing. I sleep all through the night (quietly) and get my beauty sleep. I like to play with my brother and other frands. My favorite game is hide and seek/tag. Oh yea, did I mention I like giving kisses, like a lot. Okay, one last thing, I have a favorite nighttime song, the Lucy Song. My foster mom sings it as she’s pressing my toe beans. It goes like this… “Beep beep beep… boop boop boop, I’m going to call your phone number. Beep beep beep… boop boop boop I’m going to call your phone number.”

Adoption fee: $85 which includes remaining vaccines and spay at 6 months old at our veterinarian

Please include your veterinarian name, number and the name your current pets are listed under. Also please check your information carefully. All current pets must be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Dogs must be on heart worm preventative. Our adoptable cats must live inside and adopters must agree not to declaw. If these criteria are not met, we will not process your application.

Adoption Process: This is not a first come, first serve organization. We will do our best to process applications within 48 business hours of receiving them. The application must be completed in full including first and last name, complete address including city and state, complete veterinarian information (this will be checked and all pets must be neutered or spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and dogs must be current on heartworm prevention) and the name of all current pets in the household. We are 100% volunteers and I will not subject anyone who is giving of themselves and their time to hostile conversations. Please be patient with us. We are not paid for our endless hours and are looking for the BEST home for the babies in our care. We will process your information and an email will be sent to the email you provide on the application
