Happy Fall Y'all! My name is Louzanna and I'm a 12yr old senior gal living near Ashville NC. Because of my age, it would be best for me to be a local North Carolina/Tennessee adoption, I don't think I can handle the transport.

I was adopted from IDGSR 2-3 years ago and now I need a forever home. My previous owner isn't in great health and wants to find someone else to love and care for me.

1. I am a senior gal, about 12yrs old. I want to find a home for me to live out my remaining golden years.

2. I have low to medium energy, truly I just want a comfy couch to lounge on and someone to love me.

3. I don't need to be crated because I learned how to be well behaved a long time ago.

4. I'm a sweet gal, friendly, loving, and calm. If you are wanting a mature companion who doesn't have any of those pesky puppy tendencies, I'd be your perfect match!

5. Please don't let my old age deter you from adopting me. Seniors need love and a good home just like young pups. I promise if you adopt me and once I settle in, you'll fall in love with me just as I will fall in love with you.

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
