Meet Lou Lou Who
Meet Lou Lou Who!
This small breed Beagle mix puppy is 13 weeks old and a total sweetheart!
Lou Lou currently weighs 6 pounds and at best guess will weigh around 20-25 pounds fully grown (Lou Lou’s mom weighed 23 pounds) Lou Lou Who entered our rescue when she and her 9 siblings were just a week old and we rescued her mom from underneath a shed and gave her a safe space to raise her 10 babies.
Lou Lou is a typical small breed puppy - Sassy, Silly, and just sweet as pie. She can usually be found “investigating” all the things and reporting her findings back to her foster mom. She is joyful and sweet and perfect for someone who loves to laugh at puppy antics. When she is done playing, she loves to tuck herself into a big fluffy dog bed and blanket to take a long nap.
She is working hard on house training in her foster home, but like all small breed puppies, she has a small bladder and currently is only able to go without potty breaks for 2-3 hours during the day and 5 hours overnight. She is doggie door trained and 95% house trained when using a doggie door.
Her ideal home will have someone ready to continue a consistent routine/structure with house training and learning manners. Puppy training is a time consuming process that requires patience, and her perfect home will understand that she needs consistency, structure, and training and be able to put that time in while she is young.
Lou Lou Who’s current favorites include:
Playing with toys
Wresting/Running with her siblings
Exploring outside/“stealing” leaves and sticks
Puppy Treats
Hugs and Snuggles
Belly Rubs
Lou Lou’s ideal forever home will have another playful dog or dogs and maybe even some dog savvy/older kids of her very own! She is good with other dogs big and small and good with cats. Lou Lou Who will not be adopted to a home without another accepting dog. With continued puppy training, this pretty, sweet, and super smart girl is going to make a great life-long companion.
All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. The adoption fee is $200.
