Loki is Looking for Love Akita & Siberian Husky Mix La Center, WA

My name is Loki. For more than a year, I have been waiting for a family to call my own. While I am a pretty resilient guy, it's getting hard to keep my hopes up. I have to be honest, I am beginning to question my self-worth. Is there anyone out there for me?

The rescue believes that I am an Akita / Husky mix. While I look like a Husky, I have more of a personality of an Akita. I am housetrained, crate trained, I have excellent house manners. I'm quiet, I walk great on a leash and I am super smart.

I ride great in the car and I can live comfortably in a house or in an apartment/condo. I am happy to go for a power walk with you or just chill on the couch.

I have beautiful, bright blue eyes to adore you with and see perfectly! I am landscape friendly (I don't dig) and I have no interest in jumping, escaping, etc...I do not have any type of separation anxiety.

WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE?

I'm a big fellow - weighing in at about 85#. I need regular grooming to keep my coat looking sharp. I don't mind baths at all. I know a set of basic commands.

I would do best with a family/individual who is laid back and friendly but willing to set clear / firm boundaries. I am successfully cohabitating with dogs and cats in my current foster home. I think I could enjoy spending time with other animals with thoughtful guidance and proper introductions. I would do best in a home with older kids.

While I have my little quirks, I am healthy and happy and waiting for you! Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped.
