Loki is a young 10 month old, 38 pound Malinois that was found wandering a small rural Alabama community. He is neutered,Heartworm negative, up to date on all his shots am started on his monthly preventatives. A good samaritan came across Loki and brought him home so we do not know much about his history or anything about his parentage.
Loki was scared and shy in the beginning after arriving at the foster home but after a couple days and watching the other pups interact with his foster mom and dad, Loki soon realized he was safe and in a happy place,. He showed great progress! He is a very loyal and loving dog. He is smart, fun, playful and great with other dogs. Like all Malinois Shepherds, Loki will choose his favorite person, but will gladly share the bed, toys, and play with others in the house hold.
Loki is house broke but still needs guidance. He loves to sleep in bed with his humans and will let you know when he needs out in the mornings. He walks well on a leash.
He is very timid of car rides but that may be because he was drove off somewhere strange and left to fend for himself. He will learn to like car rides if given the chance.
We are looking for someone to give him the training that all Malinois require to be succesful and live a happy life.

Once the application is submitted his foster mom with start processing the application and all the necessary calls are made someone will be in touch.
We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3 organization. We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets.
We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets. All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.
