Meet Lizzy
Lizzy's playful and smart nature shines through everyday, making her an engaging and loyal companion. Lizzy has overcome a lot in her lifetime, as she was fending in the streets of Todos Santos for over a year by herself. Now she spends her days playing with all the different dogs at the shelter, and throughout the years she has had many playmates!
Lizzy has worked really hard to be great companion when walking! And every shelter volunteer, child or adult has loved hanging out with her and befriending her instantly.
Lizzy is a social butterfly with her fellow canines, getting along with dogs of all sizes, male or female. She exudes confidence and happiness in every interaction, and is very outgoing with all hoomans and furry friends. Lizzy is kennel and house trained, as she has spent a few months in foster care in Mexico.
Lizzy loves car rides, making her an excellent companion for road trips and adventures. She is a dog who loves playing, running, jumping, chasing balls, and learning new tricks. Lizzy would thrive in an active home or alongside a fellow energetic canine companion, we do not think she would be great for senior animals or cats because of how much she enjoys playing.
Lizzy is currently located in La Paz, Mexico at our shelter and is hanging out in the sun and with their doggie friends all day long. Lizzy is ready to venture to the PNW if she had a dedicated foster or an adopter, once a family is approved we can have our pups to the PNW within 15 days.
All of Saving Baja Paws dogs come with a fantastic 1-week foster-to-adopt option. This unique opportunity allows you to ensure that the match between you and the dog is perfect. Whether you're considering fostering or adopting, we'd love to hear from you.

Lizzy’s adoption fee for Oregon, Washington, or California is $250USD.This helps us cover most of her vet and care costs incurred in Mexico, and the transport fee to bring our pups over 1,500 miles to the PNW. All our dogs come spay or neutered, with all theirs shots for the year, and have had multiple blood tests done prior to entering the USA from Mexico.
All our pups come fully up to date on shots, are tested for heartworm and other diseases, microchipped, fecal tested, current on flea medications, and also come spayed / neutered.
