Liza Chihuahua Mix Austin, TX

Liza is a sweet and tenderhearted dog who is about 3 years old and weighs 8 pounds. We rescued her from a shelter near the border of Mexico with her baby Lonnie. She does have a warm-up period when meeting new people, but once she knows you will be kind to her, she loves to get attention and affection. She just needs time to trust and know that she is in a safe space. She gets along well with the other dogs at the rescue.

Liza has the prettiest face and such expressive eyes!

She is a wonderful dog who just wants a family to call her own and a bed to snuggle into.

Liza is at our rescue near San Antonio and a meet and greet can be arranged with an approved application. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $325.

Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives

Liza tested positive for Chagas disease and has started treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol.
