Calling All Heroes!

Meet Lively, the prettiest brindle girl with a zest for life that lives up to her name! This sweet pup has been through SO much-she came into the shelter heartbreakingly emaciated, with her ribs poking out, bad skin, and belly troubles. But look at her now! She's glowing, healthy, and ready to leap (literally) into her next chapter.

Lively's Stats:

Activity Level: Jogging buddy? Hiking companion? Adventurer? She's your girl!

Dog Friendly: Yes, with proper intros (she's a polite lady, after all).

Hobbies: Exploring the world, enjoying her newfound energy, and being ridiculously adorable.

The shelter is no place for a dog like Lively. This bouncy, active gal needs SPACE to move, people to love, and a foster, adopter, or rescue to step up and give her the life she deserves.

Are YOU the hero who can give Lively the freedom to run, play, and shine? She's ready to return the favor with loyalty, companionship, and a ton of tail wags.

Don't wait! Contact GCAC Genesee County Animal Control now to meet this spunky gal or share to help her find her match! Let's give Lively the life she's been waiting for.

Thank you!

Love, Lively

All STAR animals come vetted, Up to Date (UTD) on age appropriate shots and testing, spay and neutered (if of age,) and microchipped.

AGE DISCLAIMER:
Unfortunately, most of the orphaned animals that come into our rescue looking for homes don't bring birth certificates. Sometimes we know our pets' ages. Sometimes we don't. So we make our best guess based on the condition of their teeth and the veterinarians best guess.
BREED DISCLAIMER:
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality,
not
by breed label .
Microchips:
For the safety of our dogs and peace of mind of our fosters and adopters, STAR microchips all dogs prior to adoption with Petlink Microchips. Please understand that all dogs MUST still wear a collar with ID tags (which include your current information) AT ALL TIMES. Please remember, our foster dogs are extremely important to us-- we will always take any of our dogs back, if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. Never surrender him/her to a shelter!
