Meet Little Dee Piper - a beautiful 9 month old, 46 pound, Lab/Boxer mix gal.

Little Dee Piper went home with a family several months ago and they have decided their lifestyle is unfortunately not conducive for an active dog. But their loss is your gain - because not only is this girl gorgeous she is well trained a total sweetheart!! We left up a few of her adorable puppy pics for you to see too.

Little Dee Piper absolutely LOVES everyone - especially kids and has lived with kids as young as 10.

She is an active gal who would love a family that goes on lots of walks or hikes - and would make a great running buddy. She is very good on a leash! She is also good in the car, loves to swim, is housebroken and crate trained. She still enjoys sleeping her her crate.

She is also great with other dogs so she would be your one and only with opportunities for socialization - or could bring joy to your current canine.

This gal has gone through obedience training and has a list of commands she has mastered - sit, down, come, leave it, drop and no.

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
