-Lisaki is PENDING Chihuahua & Miniature Pinscher Mix Bar Harbor, ME

Lisaki is a 17lb small mixed-breed pup who hails from Greece. We are told her parents are a Min Pin and a Chihuahua, which explains those adorable ears!

Lisaki is a little over a year old (born January, 2024), and still has plenty of fun and hilarious puppy energy, but also can be calm and snuggly. She enjoys other dogs, as long as she doesn't feel nervous or become overwhelmed. Lisaki will need to be placed in a home with a dog, or dogs, as she really finds comfort and confidence in the company of other dogs. Lisaki is being fostered with cats as well as dogs. She does chase for fun, so dog-savvy cats should be okay with her.

In Greece, Lisaki lived in a foster home with kids aged 7 and 11 and loved them! She might be a little rambunctious for toddlers, since she is still working on not jumping. She is super smart and likes to learn, she will thrive with continued positive reinforcement training. She is very easy to work with as she happily accepts her rewards in the form of treats, toys or affection.

Lisaki’s ideal home would have plenty of activity, and she would especially like a family who is at home a lot, or includes her on outings - she rides well in the car. She is fine being crated for a couple/few hours (though may be a bit vocal) with a kong or chew toy, but she really likes to be with her people and would prefer not to be alone regularly for an 8 hour workday.

Lisaki looks forward to daily walks and does well on leash with a harness (she will pull a bit to get her sniffing on if she is in a new environment). She also loves interactive playtime in her foster's fenced yard and playing with toys. She knows the cues “drop” and “sit” very well, and picked up on “wait” and “look” for her dinner in two days flat. Again, she is very smart and eager to please her humans.

This little girl would make a great addition to an active person/family who has room for her to zoom. Her foster tells us that Lisaki is a lot of fun and is "absolutely irresistible".


Adoption fees cover age specific vaccinations, martingale and collar, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/lyme/ehrlichia test, worming etc.

Adoption fees:
Through 6 months of age $450;
7 months to through 5 years $400;
6 years and under 9 years $325: bonded pairs are $500;
9 years and older $250: bonded pairs are $300

This dog is available unless it is marked as Pending, meaning Pending Adoption. This dog is in foster care locally, ONLY if Maine or New Hampshire is listed next to the dogs name; otherwise, the dog is still waiting with our partner rescue for an adoption or foster home in New England.

PLEASE NOTE - We will check your veterinary reference, to ensure that current and prior dogs have a history of being kept up to date on rabies and distemper, have had annual heartworm tests, and are on heartworm preventative at least 6 months of the year. Current pets must by spayed/neutered.
