Linus in NJ - Adorable Friendly Boy! Great Pyrenees & Komondor Mix Caldwell, NJ

This absolutely adorable young boy with the scruffy face is Linus and he is a gem! Linus is a very friendly boy, good with people and great with other dogs. He is even good with cats and grew up with them so he should be fine with a dog-savvy cat. Linus is just a young boy now, so he is still a fun-loving growing pup. He is a Great Pyrenees with a smidge of Komondor which accounts for his extra fluffy scruffy coat. He is such a good looking boy with an excellent temperament! Linus came in from a very large group of animals and he especially loves other dogs, so he would love a playmate or two to pal around the yard with. He came to rescue from a farmer/breeder in Tennessee who had more dogs than they could possibly care for. Mostly left to roam and breed, so the county got involved and contacted rescue for help. Linus will likely need to brush up on his housebreaking skills, however he was very neat in his kennel. We just love this adorable boy and so will you - we can't wait to see handsome Linus find a great furever family of his own!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
