Link Pit Bull Terrier New Orleans, LA

Link is a 4 year old ~53 lbs pit mix, who was rescued from a rural high-kill shelter, and is so happy to have a safe place to stay! He shows his gratitude by gazing at you with adoring eyes and giving you cuddles for days! He is very sweet and loving toward his humans, and just wants all your attention!

He is house trained and kennel trained, and is very treat motivated. He loves to play, but is also happy to curl up and quietly nap when it's time to relax. He is very smart and eager to please, so he is quickly picked up some basic commands!
He has shown some protective tendencies and is wary of strangers, but has been working on daily exercises to improve that and would do best with an owner who is committed to continuing his training and socialization. However, once he takes a little time to warm up to you and realizes you are trustworthy, he is the sweetest most attentive dog you could ever ask for!

He would do well in a home by himself or with another dog, but would prefer no cats or young kids. He is neutered, up to date on all his shots, and has completed heartworm treatment. He is so ready to be the center of your world!
