I come to you with a tale of unwavering strength and resilience. My name is Limerick, but you can call me Lyric. I am a majestic 1 year old Great Pyrenees, weighing in at 60 pounds. I am house broken and leash trained but still working on my crate training. My journey before Rescue One has been one of adversity, experiencing abuse and an unreliable family life. Now that I am in a foster home, I am learning about living indoors with a loving family. I get along with other dogs, cats and kids. Although I am very smart, as a result of my previous abuse, I still cower at sudden movements and experience anxiety. Likely it will take time for me to heal from my past trauma, but I am a resilient gal. I will need a family who is patient and unconditionally loving to show me the way. You will find that I crave a lot of attention and I can be a little bit like a velcro gal. Ideally, I would love a large fenced yard and a calm fur sibling to show me the ropes. Even though my life up until this point has not been easy, I have hope that my future is bright. I am strong and I have persevered!

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
