Lily-adopted! Border Collie & Collie Mix Rochester, MN

Friendly, outgoing Lily is a spirited, fun pup. She finds ways to have a good time no matter what she’s doing. Smart and loving, she always knows where her people are and what they are doing. She wants to jump in! She is a Border Collie/Collie mix born in early August 2023. Currently 20#, en route to 30-35# as an adult.

Lily loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home and can be persistent about it. She is getting adult teeth which means she is a chewing machine, and it’s easy to direct her to appropriate toys. Ready to play tug of war anytime. Settles in for a cuddle after a walk or chasing around the backyard.

The ideal home for Lily enjoys the outdoors for the sake of being outside, not because they have to take the dog for a walk. They will take her on strolls to enjoy the day, and maybe hikes on weekends to see something new. Lily really wants a canine playmate in her new home; she gains confidence from watching other dogs interact with the world. She is learning all the puppy things: potty training (going great!), wearing a collar or harness, and how to walk on leash. She settles nicely in her crate when foster mom goes to the office, and sleeps there at night.

Lily is a busy girl that is a great fit for a busy family. She has nice drive without being over the top. She is most definitely not a couch potato. Great fit for a family with older kids. Not sure about kitties. A fenced yard would be amazing but is not required for families that know how to keep dogs safe on leash*.

As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We are located in Minnesota and adopt to an area 400 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Lily's adoption fee is $400 + MN sales tax. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. She will be spayed very soon. The cost of this procedure is included in her adoption fee.
