Meet Lily! Lily is believed to be 5 years old and is a mix of pug, beagle, and chihuahua. She weighs 19 pounds on the thic side but is working on losing some weight. Lily has a sweet, nurturing, and gentle personality. She is a friendly dog who loves everyone she meets and enjoys simple activities like walks, playtime, and naps. She is happy with human companionship, car rides, sunbathing, and treat time. Lily is good with other animals and is well-behaved on a leash. Her off-leash recall is perfect, too. She knows basic obedience and is happy to practice. Easily motivated by food and affection. Lily is house and crate-trained as well. She is looking for a home where she can receive lots of love and attention. Lily is a dog of all ages and sizes and is cat-friendly too. Lily is a nanny doggo and happily coexists currently with birds, rabbits, farm critters, and a turtle without any concerns. She makes the best social buddy companion. Someone home most of the time or who can take her to work would be best. Another playful dog would be awesome. Bonus if the dog needs a confident, relaxed, assertive, playful leader dog like Lily. She has a way of nurturing and guiding while supporting those in need of a little help to feel safe. I'm not kidding you. This girl is perfection. She is enjoyable. She's easy and simple and goes with the flow. Her well-balanced energy is what everyone wants in a dog. She may be a small breed dog but she can lead any dog to greatness.

Lily is house and crate train. She walks well on a leash, and her recall off leash is excellent.

All Adoptions Include:
• Spayed/Neutered
• Rabies Vaccination: 1 or 3 years.
• All Age Appropriate Core Vaccinations Including Lepto & Corona. 1 or 3 years.
• Heartworm tested Negative.
•Receive monthly Heartworm, Flea, and Tick Prevention.
• Lyme Disease Tested Negative.
• Dewormed and Fecal tested Negative.
• All testing completed within 6 -12 months.
•All age-appropriate needs (blood work, dental, testing, and meds)
• Lifetime Microchip Registration includes free unlimited updates.
•Feed a quality protein diet

Adoption Processing:
•Adoption application review can take up to 3 weeks.
• A minimum of 2 Meet & Greets are required before adopting.
•A home check needs to take place.
• Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense.
• We Do NOT ship any of our adoptable pets.
• Adoption fees are paid at the time of adoption
•No exchange or request for money is required before adoption.
•No payment plans.

AHRS Former Adopter:
• No adoption fee is required; a donation of choice is expected, encouraged, welcome, and appreciated.

Training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues and opportunities arise daily that have to be addressed and or rewarded. Continued training is a purity setting them up for success.
