Meet Lily! Lily is a 4 year old female mix who is looking for her FOREVER home!

Lily is a very sweet and sensitive girl. When we say sensitive, we also mean to her surroundings. If it's a high-stress/chaotic environment, she's stressed. If it's nice and calm and quiet, so is she. Same goes with other dogs...if they're reactive or in her face, she will do the same...but if they ignore her, she'll ignore them. Lily has also bounced between a few homes already in her life, and seems very lost and confused. Because of this, we're asking that her adopters be very patient and understanding with her, and be on 'Team Lily'. Working with trainers will help immensely when it comes to her confidence and her bond with you.

We think Lily would prefer a nice quiet household. It's not to say that she can't live with other pets, but having a stress-free environment might make her the happiest. We think she's been through a lot in her life, and almost has some forms of PTSD-type traits. Only because little kiddos don't always understand this or know how to read dog behavior, older kids might be best for Lily. In addition, she prefers to eat without interruption...who doesn't?

Lily is an incredibly smart girl. She already knows commands like Sit, Shake/Paw, Down, Come, Roll-Over and Sit Pretty. She loves to get belly rubs and would make a great walking/jogging buddy! She's not hyper active, and would also make a great napping companion, but on nice days she's great for outdoor exercise! She's also very potty trained and will hold it for as long as you need her to.

This beautiful girl is so loving, and has fur of absolute velvet! We know she's confused as to why so many humans have failed her, but we are hoping that we are her LAST STOP before her forever.
