Meet Lilo: Bluey : Stitch--ALL ADOPTED

We urge anyone interested in adopting one of these energetic, busy, chewy and bitey pups to seriously consider their lifestyle and our requirements prior to applying to adopt. Vicki, their Mom, will not be available for adoption until she has been spayed and finishes her vaccines.

Location: Thornhill Ontario
Adoption donation: $850

Lilo (female) is the first born and is a sensitive soul who loves cuddles. Being a puppy, she is playful and energetic but if she could, she would spend all day cuddling in her human's arms. ADOPTED
Bluey (female) is the middle child and seems to be the ringleader, always rallying her troops for play and mischief. ADOPTED
Stitch (male) wants to be the macho man and perhaps he will be a macho man one day but for the moment, he is not. This boy also loves his cuddles.ADOPTED
Lilo, Bluey and Stitch were born in rescue. When their Mom, Vicki, was rescued, these adorable surprises were well hidden in her belly and it was not immediately apparent that she was pregnant. On June 27th, 2024 Vicki delivered her babies and proceeded to be an excellent Mom to them. Lilo, Bluey and Stitch are now 9 weeks old and have had their first vet visit and first set of vaccines. They are healthy, active puppies who are able to jump up out of their x-pen, scale walls, re-arrange furniture and engage in regular puppy antics until they play themselves into a deep slumber. After just 1 - 2 hours of sleep, they are fully recharged and ready to engage in more wild antics. They are typical busy, curious, hyper-active and we need not mention adorable, puppies. They are relentless in their quest for a play buddy and will not take no for answer, instigating play and wrestling and chase and destruction and anything in the home is a toy to them. Though they love squeaky and crinkly toys, they equally love shoes, slippers, laundry, household items. Anything is great fun, toy or not.
The pups bite and chew anything and everything. Their baby teeth are as sharp as needles. They require constant supervision and by this, we mean, constant-don't-let-your-guard-down-for-a-second supervision or you may find that as you were watching TV and thought your new pup was busy playing with their multitude of toys, your pants were being hemmed. Their new family must be prepared to walk into a room and find it covered in "snow" from unstuffed stuffies, severed limbs from unsuspecting toys, and little yellow deposits, also known as pee.
They are not peepad nor house trained at this stage. They know what peepads are and will occasionally use them. They will also occasionally shred them, lie on them. move them around, chew on them and invent games to play with them.
Their ideal home will have a securely fenced yard. They have just begun going outside and backyard zoomies are one of their new favourite activities. It would be wonderful if their new home has another canine companion of a similar size and energy level. We love our senior canines but a senior pet will definitely be a poor match for their energy level and incessant demands to interact. Having a young, very playful pet will be a huge plus.
We know that this is difficult to hear but we will not consider applications from anyone who works a full day. These are young puppies and this is the most crucial time in their development and training. They require family members who are physically present and ready to train and gently correct, teach leash walking, play, remain patient at all times while puppy is learning what you expect of them, provide oodles of love and oodles of engaging activity for their super-high, off the charts, energy level. These pups require an exceptional amount of dedication, love, and patience at this time so that they can become their best selves. We urge you to strongly consider the needs of these puppies and your own lifestyle prior to applying to adopt one of them. We will only consider homes where at least 1 person is home at all times AND available to interact, cuddle, walk, play, teach, supervise, and clean up after their pup.
