Lilly Golden Retriever & Yellow Labrador Retriever Mix Cape May Court House, NJ

Lilly is lively 11 year old lab mix who thinks she is 5! Her owner died and no one in the family could keep her so this sweet, energetic girl is at the shelter waiting for a family to take her home.

She did very well with a group of well behaved elementary school children. However, she is very uncomfortable with a lot of noise and activity, so a quiet home would work best for her. She can comfortably walk by other dogs but would prefer to live in a home with no other animals.

While in the yard, Lilly runs around the yard with the energy of a much younger dog. Lilly loves to play fetch and will return the ball to wait for the next round.

Her energy translates to walking well on a leash and is not hesitant about moving to the next interesting scent. She frequently checks in with her human to ensure that they are enjoying the outing as much as she is.

Hopefully there is a family that will adopt this girl and allow her to live her senior years in a loving home.

The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
