Lil Bubba Labrador Retriever & Vizsla Mix Maysville, NC

Lil Bubs recently came back to us! He about 9 months old now, and was adopted out early February to an elderly woman. Bubs being a puppy, she decided he was too much for her, and she did the right thing by calling us to return him. Other than, there is nothing wrong with him, he is simply a puppy! He needs a yard and outlet to get his energey out such as running, leash walking, fetch- just someone who doesn't mind playing with him. He is crated trained but used to sleeping in a bed (spoiled, much?). He gets along great with most dogs but has not been tested around cats. Prior to being adopted out and returned, Bubs was found when he was about 8 weeks old underneath a shed with his sister, Carmen who has since been adopted. He is a HIGHLY unique breed a Vizla mix.

Vetting: All of our dogs are microchipped and UTD on vaccines: Distemper-Parvo w/Lepto, Bordetella, and Rabies (if age appropriate). They receive monthly flea/heartworm prevention while in our care and receive fecal and heartworm testing. Most of our dogs are de-wormed at least twice unless we receive negative fecal results. They are spayed or neutered or pending a spay or neuter (unless age or a health condition precludes this).

Foster-to-Adopt Program: All of our dogs are available to foster prior to adoption. This means the dog can stay are you now instead of waiting! During this time, Castaways will continue to provide remaining medical vetting and any supplies you might need!
