Hi! I'm Liberty. I am approximately 1 year old, German Shepherd mix that weighs approx. 69lbs. I was recently surrendered by my owner because they did not have time for me. I am so excited to start a new chapter in life! Hopefully I will find a family that has knowledge of my breed and the time to spend with me. I am a very loyal girl who really loves my people. I am a bouncy, silly, fun and loving girl! I can be energetic at times but after all I am only 1 year old which means I am like a 7-year-old in human years. My child like curiosity and wonder makes me an excellent learner. I soak up everything like a sponge. Consistent training will help me acclimate to my new environment once adopted and will enhance my good girl vibe. I am suggested with older kids who are respectful of larger dogs and know how to play with me appropriately. I have gotten along with other dogs but if you have another dog in the home, I will need to meet them prior to adoption to ensure that they will accept me in the home and my overall eagerness and energy prior to adoption. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, up to date on my basic yearly boosters, and heartworm negative. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
