Meet Leyla

Anyone looking for a goofy girl with floppy ears? Leyla is an 8-month-old German Shepherd mix brought to Camp Pendleton Animal Shelter through no fault of her own. She is large girl that likes to bounce around, still learning to use her oversized paws. She is shy at first but quickly warms up and tries to coax you into playing with her. Also, she does well with kids! She would need some leash work as she is still young, which is really her only downfall. She is very strong so somebody that weighs enough to not become a kite on the end of the leash at least until she is better leash trained is a plus. Not a requirement if you'd like to learn to fly, but always a good thing to have. She does well with other polite friendly dogs as she is on the more submissive side and would do well in an active household. If this sounds like the gal for you, give us a call to schedule an appointment to meet her!

The public is welcome to come adopt the patriotic pets at the Camp Pendleton Animal Shelter! All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, flea-treated, and micro-chipped prior to adoption.
Adoption Fee: $110.
