Lexie aka Delilah is a smart, sweet, sensitive, cuddly girl who loves her people and is great with kids. Best guess is that she is a boxer mix. She is 2 years old (born Sept 2022) and 45 pounds. Lexie is done growing — so she's the perfect size! She also loves her toys, and she's a playful happy dog. She is house and crate trained, but fine left loose in the house while you’re gone and she's not destructive. She would love a low to medium energy dog sibling to keep her company and a 5-6’ fence to run, play and keep out the critters (she does have a high prey drive so no cats.). Always up for adventure, she could be a walking/hiking/running buddy or maybe a sporting or agility dog. She also loves driving to Starbucks for a pup cup and cuddling on the couch with a good movie! She is an all around move-in ready girl with a fabulous personality. Someone needs to scoop this one up so she can enjoy her happy ever after with her forever family!

ADOPTION FEE: $375.00 The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, HW test if age appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal, spay or neuter, Heartworm and flea and tick preventative. ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org. Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possible. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed.
