Levi Jack Russell Terrier Mix Rock Springs, WY

Levi weighs about 25 lbs and is 3-4 years old. He was dumped at a kill shelter by family members after his 99 year old owner died. The video of him is at the shelter totally terrified. He has glaucoma in both eyes so he can hardly see which added to the situation being super scary for him. We took him into the rescue as he was going to be euthanized but the rescue environment is not good for him either. Because he cannot see (well) he is reactive when other dogs approach him because it startles him and he doesn't know their intentions. He is super duper sweet with people though. He is not aggressive with dogs per se, he doesn't go after anyone, he just can't see and is scared so he react. He needs a quiet home asap so he can live the life he deserves and the life his late owner would have wanted for him (shame on the family members).

Our adoption fee is normally $550 but his fee is reduced to $250 which is only the cost of transport to out-of-state adopters.


He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found.
