Meet Levi
Levi is a Basenji
Levi does need a while to warm up to new people and that he exhibits his initial mistrust by trying to nip at you and putting on a show isn’t helping his cause, either.
Deep down, however, he is nothing but a big softy any the neediest cuddle bug around.
If he is given the chance Levi will be an ideal partner-in-crime for an all female household or a patient guy who likes to watch sports on a comfy couch rather than run around the block himself.
Levi is 7-8 years old, gets along with most other dogs, and also doesn’t mind cats.
He has had a rough start in life and is wary of new people at first. Once he knows you are not out there to hurt him he warms up pretty quickly.
Levi is ok with other dogs. He is selective.
Levi loves women and can be a real charmer. He also gets along very well with other dogs. He is very suspicious of men in general and will take some time to trust them. Once he is convinced that you are not going to hurt him he will be extremely loyal.
Levi has been in a 4-week training camp and know basic commands and walks on the leash very mannerly. His trainer Reann says about him: "Levi's new person must be willing to continue the training he started with us. He knows sit, down, stay, heel and come on the leash."
