Leroy Brown is an adorable 8-month-old puppy with a cheerful and friendly disposition. He weighs 42 pounds and is still growing, but already displays a great deal of affection and playfulness towards everyone he meets, whether they're other dogs or humans. Leroy is a quick learner and enjoys car rides, and he also sleeps soundly in his kennel through the night.

Leroy's previous owners surrendered him due to his boundless energy, and his new forever home should be committed to providing him with ample exercise and training to meet his needs. Although Leroy is still a mouthy puppy, he is eager to learn and respond to positive reinforcement training. Homes with small children may not be the best fit for him at this time, but he would make a fantastic companion for an active family who is ready to give him the love and attention he deserves.

Thank you for reading about our awesome dog. All dogs came to us from different situations and we often do not know much about their past, but they are rescue dogs who deserve a second chance and need patience on their journey. Our dogs our are in foster homes all across the Bay Area.

If you are interested in learning more about our Underdog, the first step in the process is to submit an application in order to set up a meet and greet or talk with the foster family. Once an application is submitted, the foster parent will contact you to chat more about the dog and make sure they're a good fit, and can answer any further questions. The application answers most of our questions and can best match you with an Underdog. If you do not get the dog you apply for, we can use your same application for 90 days towards another dog in our care, by forwarding your application upon request. The application is available here:

All dogs will be fully vetted (Spay/Neutered, Micro chipped, DHPP and Rabies Vaccinated) and other possible vet care prior to adoption.

The adoption fee is $100 which is considered a non-refundable donation.
