Leroy Beagle Spring Hill, TN

Leroy is a sweet beagle boy who is about 7-8 yr old and about as happy, loving, playful ad a beagle boy can be!

Leroy does best with another energetic beagle playmate (he loves to chew on and wrestle with younger beagles). Without a playmate, Leroy seeks a lot of attention from his humans which can seem overwhelming at times, but he just loves love.

Leroy is great with kids but can knock over little ones especially if food is involved. He currently lives with a toddler who he loves to pal around with.

Leroy is a food monster, but not food aggressive. Leroy has been known to eat directly out of our garden and is happy to bulldoze through the pack for a piece of lettuce or carrot.

Leroy is house trained with a doggy door, he does well on a leash with a harness and rides well in a car.

Leroy has been with HERO over 3 yrs most likely due to his medical needs. Leroy came into HERO high heartworm positive, which means he is on daily medicine for his heart. However, his dose is lower than ever thanks to heartworm treatment.


Leroy takes 2 medicines every morning which cost about $150 every 120 days. Leroy will come with about a year's worth of medicine with his adoption.
