Meet Leo
Meet Leo! Leo is an 8 year old male Coonhound mix that is looking for his new forever home!
Leo was found as a stray, so we don't know what his life was like prior to being found. He has lots of scarring on his face and ears, and appears to have been used as a hunting hound. However, Leo has since taken to the 'retired' indoor life and has been nicknamed 'Lazy Leo'! This dude loves to lay, sleep, bask in the sun, stretch, and snooze some more! That being said, Leo would love to go for a nice walk every day as he still has plenty of mobility and loves to sniff and explore! Because of Leo's nose, he should be kept contained any time he's outside. If he catches a scent, he might become lost quicker than even he can realize!
Because we don't know Leo's housetraining history, we recommend utilizing a crate or a separated area for him in his new home at first -just until he learns the new potty schedule.
Leo isn't a fan of sharing his food and bones, so he should be separated from children if he has these things. He adores humans and loves to greet new people!
Leo is a wonderful, sweet and happy hound that can't wait to have a family of his own! Leo is neutered and fully vaccinated. His adoption fee is $150.00
