Leif Labrador Retriever Mix Evergreen, CO

Leif (or as we call him Reef) is sweet, spunky, adorable, loving, cuddly and it all comes in the perfect puppy package. Reef is 100% love bug. The way he leans into you for soft kisses and snuggles will absolutely melt your heart. He loves gentle face scratches while getting a million little snoot smooches. He is food motivated and trains well with tasty treats. He's doing great with potty training as long as he has lots of opportunities to go outside. We make sure he goes out every 1 to 2 hours, directly after naps, and before and after meals. He is rewarded with treats or praise when he goes. He does great in the crate at night and for up to 2 hours during the day. Especially, if he gets serious exercise beforehand and a tasty, long-lasting treat to keep him busy. He would do best in a home where someone is around most of the day, at least during the puppy period, as he probably can't be trusted out of the crate on his own for a little while at least. I'm not sure how he is with young children as he hasn't met any but he is a typically bouncy puppy with sharp teeth. He'd most likely do well with cats too if he was introduced slowly.

In short, he'll be the perfect dog for someone who's looking for a reward oriented adorable puppy who only wants to be with his humans and dog friends. Our favorite thing about Reef is he loves to cuddle. He's always down for some tv couch time!
