Langley American Bulldog & American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Oxford, PA

This poor girl was found chained in a yard with no food or water. After being kept at a rural shelter in NC for 8 long months on a hold from the court, she was finally released and we were able to bring her up here to start her forever life!
Langley is truly the sweetest girl. We have been working with her on some commands- she loves to sit and be rewarded with yummy treats and belly rubs!
She's great with children, but we'd recommend older kids only due to her size. She's definitely a bull in a china shop, but in the best way. We'd prefer a fenced in yard since she spent so much of her life on a chain and loves having plenty of space to run around and be her goofy self. Langley is heartworm positive and will need to be kept as calm as possible during her treatment which we will set up and cover.
Here are some notes that her foster has made about her:
*Her nickname is piglet because she snorts with joy during playtime.
*She is about 90% potty trained but fully crate trained and adjusted to sleeping in her cozy space.
*Ideal day for her would be to take a walk out in nature then snuggle up on the couch with her human.
*She is working on basic commands and can sit like a champ, we are still working on her being mouthy when she is really excited but she is learning quickly with guidance.
*She Loves to be outdoors and take walks, she is excellent being walked on a front clip harness.
*Langley is full of life, but loves to be a couch potato too. She is a hue foodie and is highly food motivated which makes training her a breeze.
*Her main goal is to please you, she loves her people! She is less enthusiastic about sharing her people with other dogs in the home. She isn't dog aggressive but dominant and would like to be the only one getting snuggles! She has never lived with a cat but has walked by them without much interest. If moved into a cat home would need a slow introduction.
