OUT-OF-TOWN Dogs with NDR refer to dogs we have saved that have yet to make their journey to Ontario. These dogs are currently in our care with the help of our partners in the area. These dogs will all travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter or local foster is found.

Foster insights/backstory: Lando is very food motivated, people oriented, and eager to please. He is good with our 3 dogs and foster puppy Sawyer. He mostly ignores our cat but is fascinated by chickens. We are working on several commands:
Crate (go to your bed)
Sit (cupped hand, swooping motion)
Place (point)
Touch (open palm, fingers facing down - he will bop your palm with his nose)
Caution: he is a poop eater! We are attempting to correct and he is far better but we chose praising going outside over correcting poop eating. We scoop quickly to avoid the correction.
He jumps immediately and easily over baby gates and is very confused as to why he should not.
Lando is a people person! He loves having a playmate, but I think he could happily be a beloved only pet (as long as that person will spend time with him). He is smart and eager to please so brilliant with training maybe a lil bit of trouble if left to his own choices
He is exceptionally endearing
