Meet Kuzma! -3 year old male pittie mix -Surrendered to the Shelter after previous guardian was unable to continue caring for -Previously lived in a home with his littermate but is not recommended to be adopted with her (google littermate syndrome for more information!) -Lived in a home with children under 12 and did well -Kuzmas favorite things are attention, head rubs and walks -Enjoys riding in the car and gets excited when he sees the door open -Kuzma previously lived outdoors primarily and may need patience in the transition to indoor living Now through December 23rd the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter is hosting Home for the Holidays. This adoption event reduces the adoption fee for all cats, rabbits and dogs to $50. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locations Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end meet and greets (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
