*PLEASE NOTE: We do not adopt out on a first-come/first-serve basis. Applications are accepted for a dog and then a home check is scheduled. If there are multiple applications for a dog, after all home checks are done, the dog is adopted out to the home that is the best fit for that dog.

Hi!  My name is Kuro and I am a truly gentle, sweet, and beautiful boy with a graceful and agile presence!  Who can resist my gorgeous thick black coat and adorable curly tail? My playful and energetic self makes me the perfect partner for a walker, maybe a runner, or someone who loves to explore and is looking for a companion! Hang out in the yard and play?  Would love to!  Play a game of chase or tug?  Perfect!  Cuddle in to watch a movie? Count me in! I know my furever family or person is just waiting to find me! If you would like to meet me, please fill out a pre adoption application and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can!

**The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $400-450.00, which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.***
