Meet Kristof
Kristof the Komondor!
Before coming to us, he was just left in a field with no human contact. Now when he meets people he is excited to come say hello and greets them with a smile. Kristof loves other dogs and he has lots of energy. He is a work in progress, but he has been doing great. He would do best in a home with another dog. He does need a fully fenced yard. He loves to sound his alarm when a person or animal arrives. It would be wonderful if he could find a home with someone who would keep him well socialized. This breed needs that. They are workers. Training this breed should be done with consistency, patience and positive reinforcement methods. He's a good boy, we know the right home is out there!
He and his sister Elsa are 100% Komondor. They had to be shaved down due to so much matting. Komondors require regular grooming and care for their cording. He currently weighs about 70lbs. He has been neutered, UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and Heartworm negative.
