Meet Kris
Kris (known as Klaus to his foster family) is a 3-year-old Pitbull-Dalmatian mix
looking for his forever family. Klaus enjoys time out in the summer sunshine
whether it is for a long walk or a trip to visit some friends at the dog park. He loves to be the car ride co-pilot while you are out running errands or heading up to the cabin. He won’t be a side-seat driver, but like any good co-pilot he takes over the pilot seat while you are away and will keep an eye on everything at hand, keeping the driver seat warm until you return.
Klaus is a big hugger, he leans into everyone he meets and if you are not looking will try to sneak a kiss. He is a lover of all, getting along with other dogs around the neighborhood or at the dog park and the resident cat at his foster home.
His kind, lovable personality has been endearing and a good fit to children as young as 3 years old. He currently lives in a townhome with minimal yard and would continue to do well in a townhome or single family home. A fenced in yard is NOT a necessity for this boy, however, he does enjoy green space, and so he would do best at a home where he can regularly enjoy a walking path with grass, forest or field.
Klaus has a deep baritone bark he typically employs to alert you that someone else in the neighborhood is getting a walk (so he should too), to alert you of pedestrians to your side when in the car or to let you know when friends or family members come home. He can be very vocal when playing with other dogs as well.
