Meet Kono, a dashing two-year-old mixed breed pup tipping the scales at an agile 50 lbs. This boy is a cocktail of fun, friendliness, and furry kisses. Kono is a social butterfly, flourishing around both cats and dogs, and he’s never met a human hug he didn’t like. Plus, he comes with a built-in best buddy—his brother, who’s been his sidekick since day one.

Kono's never had the pleasure of strutting his stuff on a leash—yet—but don’t let that fool you. He’s bursting with energy and enthusiasm, perfect for a game of fetch or a romp in the yard. He’s a pro at house manners (house-trained like a champ!) and has mastered the art of dining without making a fuss over food.

Living with two other dogs and a cat, Kono is the epitome of the socialite pet. Whether it's chilling with his senior dog pal or respecting the cat’s space, he knows the ropes. His interactions with all creatures, great and small, are nothing short of gentlemanly.

While Kono loves to buzz with energy, he’s also starting to appreciate the quieter moments. A home with some space to dash and play would be his dream come true, though he’s adaptable enough for less vigorous activities too. He’s not crate trained, but he’s bidding farewell to those pesky puppy chewing habits.

Kono’s ideal future? Sticking with his brother, where they can continue their dynamic duo adventures. They’ve grown up together, played together, and even learned to stop barking at the neighbor's cows together—a true country boy achievement!

Kono is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to his forever home by our rescue! We have transports departing each week!
