Meet Kona
Kona is a young dog that has only grown up in the shelter system. He was a puppy in animal control and made his way to our no kill shelter. Shelter life is becoming hard on him. When we take him outside for a little walk, he appreciates the fresh air and one-on-one time.
Black dogs statistically sit in the shelters longer than other dogs. Kona is experiencing that.
Kona is a male, black mixed breed dog (We think lab.) with wavy hair down his spine. He was born 7/15/23. He is attentive to people. He currently 36 pounds.
He walks pretty well on a leash and hasn't been a jumper when we have taken him out.
