UPDATE; Kodi has been returned. His adopters decided to downsize, sold their home with yard and moved into an apartment. Kodi is not adapting well to the constant changes in neighbors, daily leashes walks are not enough for his exercise needs and he is miserable. They have decided they need a smaller "apartment" dog. If you are planning such a life change/move, there eis a spot on our adoption application that asks that. Please be honest. She reports he is not a barker, loves kids but especially little girls, sits and stays on command, gets along with many dogs but, oddly, not short haired dogs, is curious about cats but not aggressive, very athletic and loves to cuddle..
On another note, they did have him DNA tested and turns out he's NOT a Mini Aussie, but 50% Pomeranian and 50% Australian Cattle Dog!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kodi is a 4 yr old MINI Aussie. He is cute as a button. We rescued him from an overcrowded, high kill shelter in Southern UT where he had been impounded as a stray. We've updated his vaccines and groomed him. He is neutered and very healthy. A little too healthy, lol, he needs to drop about 10-15#s. I suspect he was a seniors dog, and Gramma fed him well! He needs a moderately active home where he can get the exercise and love and attention he needs. He's a little bewildered right now, and feeling anxious about all the "new" in his life. He is very friendly with everyone he meets, including dogs and cats. He has shown himself to be very potty trained, but not comfortable in a crate. He prefers to sleep on the bed with you. He will make an excellent Family choice for a household with older kids, who are kind and considerate and well supervised around dogs.
