Rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico as an 8-week-old puppy, Kiwi has blossomed into a fun-loving, energetic girl who bounces like a little kangaroo when she plays. She absolutely adores other dogs and, while she may be a bit nervous at first, once she realizes she's safe, it's game on! Playtime is her favorite, and she would thrive in a home with another friendly pup to romp around with. Kiwi is still adjusting from her rough start in life, so she eats in her crate, as she sometimes seems to think that she is still fending for herself on the streets. This sweet girl has a heart full of love, especially for children. Her thick, soft fur gives her a striking appearance, somewhat resembling a Dutch Shepherd, though her true mix is a mystery. Kiwi is the perfect medium-sized companion. Kiwi is great with the cats in her foster home.
