Meet Kiwi
Meet KIWI this SATURDAY, APRIL 26 from 12-3PM at the NEBRASKA FURNITURE MART PET ADOPTION EVENT! We’ll be joining other rescue groups for a HUGE adoption event. Dogs, puppies, cats and kittens for adoption! NFM is located at 1601Village West Pkwy, KCK 66111.

SUNDAY, APRIL 27: Open 10AM - 3PM at KCK Animal Services. No appointment needed!

KIWI is a sweet ball of energy who loves to help stuffies explode and immensely enjoys her treats & frozen kongs. She is a 1 year old medium pittie mix. She is crate trained and housebroken. Kiwi plays well with other energetic dogs, but is fixated with squirrels so for now we’d say no to those furry felines. She enjoys snuggling up for pets and belly rubs with her people. She is working on leash manners and basic manners.
Kiwi was found abandoned on the streets and was subsequently hit by a car, breaking a front leg. The wonderful people who found her were not able to keep her inside so she came to the shelter and was immediately placed in a foster home while her leg healed. She weighs about 40 lbs.
ADOPTING A PET
We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.
If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
