Meet Kitty
Meet Kitty, the 11-week-old Schnauzer mix with a heart as big as her namesake, Kitty Wells!
Kitty, named after the iconic Kitty Wells, is a silly and happy puppy with a personality as big as her namesake’s hits. This tiny girl currently weighs 4 pounds and will be around 15 pounds fully grown (best guess). Kitty entered the rescue with her mom and 4 siblings after her mom was thrown from a car when she was very pregnant. Her mom has been adopted and now it’s her turn! Kitty is full of joy and silly puppy antics!
Kitty’s idea of a perfect day? Playing, playing, and playing some more! She loves to play outside running and wrestling with her siblings, laying in the sun, and exploring. She loves toys and a full toy box is a must.
When she's finished playing, she loves to snuggle up in a fluffy dog bed with a cozy blanket.
Kitty is making great progress on house training. Currently, she needs to be let out every 3 hours during the day, but she can hold it for 5 hours overnight. Her ideal home will have someone ready to continue a consistent routine/structure with house training and learning manners. Puppy training is a time consuming process that requires patience, and her perfect home will understand that she needs consistency, structure, and training and be able to put that time in while she is young.
Kitty’s ideal forever home will have another playful dog or dogs and maybe even some dog savvy/older kids of her very own! She is good with other dogs big and small and good with cats. Kitty will not be adopted to a home without another accepting dog.
Kitty deserves the best forever home and like always we are not first come first serve- we will want a mutual adoption decision from both the potential adopter and Kitty herself. We are always looking for the very best fit for both you and the dog.
All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. The adoption fee is $200.
