Kira is a sweet approximately 1yo purebred female Blue Heeler with a cropped tail. She was rescued from a high kill shelter on her last day of life being euthanized for space.
Kira is a very affectionate girl who would make a fantastic companion for someone looking for a BFF. She is a bit fearful & skittish in chaotic and new environments and needs a patient experienced owner willing to work with her on boosting her confidence.
She would do best in a quiet place with a small family and little foot traffic. She is submissive, non aggressive. A very happy, joyful soul who is an indoor dog and a couch potato. She gets depressed being left outside alone but does not have separation anxiety.
She has not shown any herding tendencies, doesn’t chew on things and prefers to lounge calmly around the house on a plush bed with her people and eat good food.
Kira is spayed, vaccinated & microchipped.
She does have a high prey drive towards running small animals so no cats recommended.
Kira prefers to be a Solo dog at home. She doesn’t share attention well with other dogs. Girl jealousy? :)
So NO dog parks for this girl for her safety.
She would do best with a small family living in a quiet neighborhood with no other pets at home and some private yard space where she can go potty since she needs some confidence training for long leash walks.
