5-year-old male Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mix, about 10 pounds. Kingston is a happy, playful guy who gets along well with dogs, cats and people of all sizes. He loves the outdoors, potties in the rain, uses the dog door and is a good snuggler. He does have environmental allergies that we have been evaluating and developing a treatment plan for. He will likely need a limited ingredient diet and allergy shots going forward. He would love a home with another dog or cat to play with. He is not a noisy guy and could do well both in a house or apartment. Most of all, Kingston would love a human of his own for adventures and snuggles.

Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Puppies are adopted with a refundable spay/neuter deposit (in addition to the adoption fee) and adopters are required to get their puppy to our vet for their pre-scheduled spay-neuter appointments. You must live within a three-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), so we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
