Meet Kilala
WE ARE IN DESPERATE NEED FOR AN EMERGENCY FOSTER FOR BEAUTIFUL KILALA. PLEASE COMPLETE THIS APPLICATION TO BE A TEMPORARY FOSTER WITH ABSOLUTELY NO OBLIGATION!! If interested in fostering/adopting Kilala, please complete the online application here: https://basenjishiba.com/apply-to-rescue-or-foster
Kilala is an owner surrender because although she bonded with a senior Schnauzer the past couple of years, she started attacking him the last couple of months. Not sure if this is due to his age. She has drawn blood but not a major attack requiring hospitalization. She has gone after him twice in a month so the owners can no longer keep her.
We think she could be fine with a larger dog that is young and healthy for her to play with.
She has lived with cats and is fine with them.
She is good with kids but we feel she would be better in a home with children over 13 years old only, if any.
Kilala does not like to be crated.
Commands/tricks known: Sit, come here, stop, down
Favorite toys/activities: running, playing with ball outside, tug of war
Kilala can be a best friend and companion to an active family who can be there for her and allow her to be her best self. She is young so very high energy! She needs a home where she will be exercised and who is home with her most of the time.
