Meet KIKI
Kiki appeared to have a great home where she was loved and pampered. That was until her owners had a new baby. When the baby became a toddler, the owners decided they no longer wanted a dog in the house. Kiki was moved outside. While outside she injured one of her eyes, and because the owners did not take her for medical attention, the eye withered away. By the time she was brought into our rescue she was also suffering with a raging skin and ear infection. We had to have the eye removed and have been treating the skin and ear infection. Kiki has been such a little trouper throughout this whole ordeal. She is so happy, playful, and friendly with people, however it appears she was not raised with other pets in the household so she will do best as an only pet. Kiki's D.O.B. is 09-13-2020, she is just 12 pounds, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and appears to be housebroken. She is truly a treasure! Anyone wishing to adopt Kiki must own their own home and have a secure fenced yard. If you are interested in adopting her, you will need to fill out an adoption application through our website at www.humanesocietycitrus.com and for additional information please contact Karron by email at choose2rescue@yahoo.com or by phone at 352-634-0423. An approved adoption application and adoption fee are required to adopt Kiki. The adoption donation for Kiki is $400.
